Pet care experience
My name is Tyler and I moved to NYC from FL and am now an NYU alum! I'm a thoroughly responsible young adult, who's looking to make some extra money on the side. One of the hardest parts about being away from home is missing my 6 dog brothers and sisters - I've grown up with dogs my entire life, and with a wide variety of sizes and breeds. Not to mention my family has fostered a few along the way. I am in grad school but the courses are online/asynchronous which allows for lots of flexibility in my schedule. Additionally, I have previous experience with cats/bunnies/fish/guinea pigs, as well as plant care. Thank you for your consideration, I know pets are like family, and you'll want someone you can trust. I hopefully can look forward to some quality time with him/her. We were nervous to leave our dogs with a stranger, but when we met Tyler beforehand, we were immediately sure they would be in good hands. While we were away, Tyler sent updates with pictures, assuring us that the elderly dog was getting her meds. When we came home, we found the dogs totally calm and happy. They clearly had been fed well, walked, snuggled and cared for. We would definitely use Tyler again.

A typical day
While your pet is in my care my first priority is honoring your usual routine. That means walks at their designated times, time at the dog park if that’s part of their exercise regimen, eating at their regular times, and whatever else you feel is important to do.

I work part time and am in graduate school, which is currently online and asynchronous which means I can work at my own pace. Therefore there is a lot of flexibility in my schedule.
