Pet care experience
I adore all pets, but focus primarily on dogs. I can walk your dogs for however long you'd like or take them on a hike if you choose! I can work on leash manners for you and basic tricks if you ask as I'm pretty knowledgeable on current dog behavior science. During a house visit I will let your dogs out to potty, play with them for around an hour, and feed them if necessary. I can take photos of your dog and give you updates throughout the stay. I've dog sat for a number of people and have had rave reviews from the owners. I have 2 dogs, so I'm experienced handling multiple dogs at once. Both of my dogs are working or herding breeds so I'm no stranger to a stubborn or high drive dog!

Tyler was amazing with our French Bulldogs (and our house) while we were out of town for the week. She was very attentive to our needs, she was on time, great with the pups and was very accommodating when our travel plans didn’t go exactly as planned. She stayed late and ensured everyone was taken care of. I loved the photo updates/check-in’s. I didn’t worry at all and felt so comfortable knowing she had everything under control while we were away. Highly recommend!

I currently do not offer services from my own home. I live in an apartment and am at my pet limit. My dogs are well cared for and spoiled rotten. They are allowed in the furniture and in our bed at night.

I would like to know any reactivity issues the dog may have. Does your dog ignore other dogs on walks or do they pull towards them? What training commands have you already established? What treats can your dog have?
A typical day
We can walk around the block, a few blocks, go to a favorite and pre-approved park, go on bike rides or hikes, work on leash manners and meeting other dogs appropriately (if asked of course), play in the backyard or anything else asked.

Availability
I work at the museum with full time hours. I'm available all day Mondays and Tuesdays, but only available before 9:30am and after 6:30pm the rest of the days. I do take an hour lunch and am happy to check in on your pets during my lunch.
