Pet care experience
I've grown up with a dog in the house my entire life. I have dog sat and walked for neighbors, friends, and strangers before. I am also experienced in giving both injectable and oral medications if needed. If your dog is friendly with other dogs, I'm more than willing to bring my dog around so they can play and walk together. I've also received Fear Free certification for veterinarians, which will help me be better able to work with anxious or nervous dogs. Availability: I'll be available in evenings most days and all day on weekends during rotations where I have time to do so. I set my weekday availability at 3-10 pm because that's the closest option, but my weekday availability is usually going to be after 6 pm. On busier clinic rotations, I'll set my status as away.

Tyler watched our 2 dogs a couple weekends ago and it went very well. Upon returning I could tell the dogs had been well taken care of and loved while we were gone!
Tyler took really good care of both of my dogs. I am planning to have him watch them again the next time we leave town. Would highly recommend him.
Tyler was amazing! I was in search of a new dog-sitter for an out of town trip and I'm so glad I found him on Rover. He was very responsive, flexible, and great with my shy dog. He sent pictures of her while I was gone and answered any questions that arose. Tyler's experience as a vet student was a perfect fit for my dog who has some medical issues, which didn't seem to phase Tyler at all. My dog seemed happy and well cared for when I picked her up-a sign she had a great stay with Tyler! I will definitely plan to use him again in the future and would certainly recommend him!
Tyler is an amazing dog lover. Not only is he a vet student, he also volunteers at shelters and helps in any way possible. He treats his dog like his own child. Any dog under his care is in great hands.

A typical day
I can talk dogs on walks to Twin Lakes dog park, Grindstone, Garth, any nearby parks, Rock Bridge state park, or just around the block. I can practice training as well. While I don't have a backyard, I have easy access to Twin Lakes Dog Park and the MKT trail for physical activity.
