Pet care experience

With two beloved Labrador Retrievers by my side, I got to experience both the joys of raising puppies and navigating the tenderness required for a dog who is facing serious health issues. My Yellow Lab faced cancer with grace while my Black Lab drifted into her elder years - experiencing cognitive dysfunction yet still managing to bring happiness through all its stages. The incredible bond that can be created between us humans and our furriest friends truly has no bounds; they deserve love & support from puppyhood until their very last breath!

Tyler did a wonderful job caring for my dog at my place when I was away for a wedding weekend. He sent photos/updates, took her for several neighborhood walks and outings each day, and checked in with any questions he had about making her most comfortable and happy for the two nights I was away. Would recommend, I'd love to have Tyler watch my dog again!

Tyler stayed at our place for a long weekend and sent photo/video updates daily. He went above and beyond, taking my dog, Walter out on the esplanade for walks, and to the dog park. When we arrived, the place was spotless. We will be sure to ask Tyler to watch our dog again!

Tyler did a great job caring for our two dogs while we were away for the weekend. He came over for a meet and greet and took copious notes to make sure he had everything covered. He made our dogs feel comfortable quickly and sent lots of pictures.

Tyler worked hard to gain the trust of my cat. My dog loved the attention and walks he got from Tyler.

Caring for our canine companions is more than a responsibility - it's an opportunity to show them the love and loyalty they give us every day. For those of us lucky enough to have furry friends, we must make sure that their well-being comes first with carefully planned schedules aimed at giving them the best possible life.

Information Tyler P. would like to know about your pet

It is important to know a few key pieces of information about a dog ahead of time in order to ensure they are well cared for. To begin, it is essential to understand the basic needs of your dog, such as nutrition and exercise. A proper diet should be decided based on the size, age, breed, and activity level of the dog, and I need to know about the diet instructions. Additionally, physical activity should also be tailored according to these factors as dogs require different levels and types of exercise depending on their specific needs. It is important to note that exercise should always be supervised and that safety measures such as leashes should always be used during walks or runs. Aside from physical health, mental wellness is another key component when caring for a dog. Providing opportunities for playtime, socialization with people and other pets, mental stimulation games like hide-and-seek or puzzles, which will help keep your pet intellectually balanced -- I need to know what kind of games to use, if any. Lastly, it is important to have an understanding of your dog’s behavioral tendencies in order to best anticipate his or her reactions in various situations such as meeting new people or going to unfamiliar places. All of these factors contribute to creating the ideal environment for your pup/dog—one that ensures optimal physical and mental well-being while also providing them with plenty of love and affection.

A typical day

When I watch the dogs, I love to do a variety of fun activities with them. One of our favorite things to do is go for a long walk around the neighborhood. We have several places we like to visit, like the local park where there are plenty of trails and areas for us to explore. We also love heading down near the lake, which has lots of interesting smells and sounds that the dogs can enjoy. In addition, on nice days we'll often head out on a hike in some nearby woods or meadows, so the dogs can get some exercise and experience different sights and smells. Occasionally we'll even take a trip to the beach or lakefront and let the dogs run free while they splash in the water. No matter where we go, though, I always make sure they are safe and having plenty of fun with lots of chances to explore their surroundings!
