I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs — from 140 lb. leonbergers to 10 lb shihtzus. Currently I live with a 4 year old black lab and couldn’t be happier. My family also has a 10 year old that is famous in town for how much he walks the streets. I was the sole caretaker for him for a two-year period. Apart from 3, 1-hour classes around noon throughout the week, I am available to both visit homes and take walks out in boone’s surrounding trails. Since I take the AppalCart to and from Appalachian’s campus, I would need some buffer time before and after classes to get back to my house. As an athlete, I’m able to run the energy out of any hyper puppy but also patient enough to enjoy a leisurely stroll. I always would rather stay later rather than leave early.
