Pet care experience
I'm an animal lover living with my wife in Shakopee. We are an active couple and love the outdoors. I work as a wildlife biologist for the Minnesota DNR. I have experience caring for pets at a boarding facility. I grew up with dogs my entire life and we now have a 4 year old corgi who is very friendly, playful, and well-behaved! I work from home all week and will be able to keep a close eye on your pet during that time. We love taking long walks around the neighborhood and are willing to take the time to get your dog exercise if needed. We have a large fenced in yard for playing fetch and running around with our dog Louie. We have a 1.5 year old daughter who we’ve taught to be gentle and kind to pets and she truly is a dog lover. My wife and I will both be responsible for caring for your pet during his/her stay. We look forward to making sure your dog is safe, comfortable, and happy in our home!

First time Tyler watched our dog for us. We were sent videos and pictures right away, showing how our dogs were getting along. We were updated often and could tell she was having a great time, playing and taking walks. We will keep Tyler on our list for future stays.
Tyler did a great job of taking care of Yogi while we were on vacation. We met with him in advance to see how our doggies got along and his style of sitting. Yogi made a new friend and we definitely will be taking him back again.
Excellent stay for our dog. They are experienced dog people and willing to make sure our high energy dog got exercise!

A typical day
I typically take walks twice daily with my corgi. We go on a walk once in the morning for about 15-30 minutes, and then a longer walk in the afternoon, roughly an hour long around all the hiking trails. We may also go to the nearby Bloomington dog park or play fetch. We are willing to take your dog along to a dog park if you wish!
