We give daily updates and send lots of pics so you can see how much fun your dog is having! With our services, you'll quickly see you have nothing to worry about giving you peace of mind during your trip. Your pup will have a blast and be safe while doing so! The founder of Dogs & Recreation is a dog trainer skilled at understanding dog behavior and employing advanced dog handling techniques. The Dogs & Recreation home has a large fenced backyard with additional security to prevent even the most talented dog from escaping. The backyard is a mini dog park with dog agility tunnels, obstacle courses, balls, and tug o war toys. The dogs will enjoy a lot of outside and cuddle time on the sofa! I am always confident my pup is well cared for when with Tyler. He is compassionate and knows dogs. Tyler is always my choice to dog sit.
Tyler was great about communicating with me how my doggo was doing. And he is super knowledgeable about different breeds and behaviors - as my doggo is newly rescued pup, that was super helpful. I definitely recommend and plan to book again with Tyler in the future.
Tyler always does a great job with Maple. She leaves happy and tired. The nightly updates are detailed and include pictures.
We recently moved to the area and wondered if we should leave our furry family member at the old far off place, but glad we found Tyler on Rover. After a meet & greet, we knew that Bruno would do well at Tyler’s place. Tyler kept us informed on a daily basis with pictures which was great. SAFETY, TRUST & ENVIRONMENT------------- We provide one of the safest environments for your pupper! All dogs are screened for updated health records prior to and upon arrival. A dog trainer evaluates their temperaments to confirm they are friendly enough for the Dogs & Recreation Pack. The backyard is routinely treated with anti-mosquito, anti-tick, anti-flea formulas to prevent the spread of disease. The perimeter of the fence is secured with metal wire panels that prevent even the most experienced escape artist from getting out. We supervise the dogs at all times to make sure each dog is happy and comfortable. Our sitter's are trained in many techniques that help reduce and prevent altercations between dogs. Fresh, filtered water is provided several times a day and treated with a dental formula that improves dog oral health, whitens teeth, and eliminates bad breath. Dog gates are placed throughout the house to keep dogs safe and secure. Areas are routinely disinfected using pet-friendly cleaners so that your pupper has a clean environment to call home everyday!

We have onboarding forms that all our clients fill out. Then, we schedule a general behavior assessment so we can properly get to know your doggo. A $25 deposit is required to schedule the assessment which is then credited to your booking.
A typical day
Doggy pool, kick ball, tug of war, pb lick matts, sniff matts, tag, catch, fetch, racing, play wrestling, hide and seek, lots and lots of cuddle time, and, of course, gotta spoil them with treatos!

SCHEDULE------------------------------- We revolve our schedule around caring for the puppers! Their safety and happiness are our top priorities. In the morning, we play kickball! In the afternoon, fun craziness like fetch, kickball, tug of war, tag, play wrestling, and more! In the evening, group cuddles and play wrestling in the living room! Repeat next day!
