From schnauzers to huskies!
Pet care experience
I grew up in a household that first had a schnauzer as a pet, followed by two siberian huskies. Needless to say the huskies stole my heart and when they passed away during highschool I truly lost two of my best friends. I love caring for all kinds of animals, but especially dogs. I love the outdoors, even more so with a 4-legged companion. I've also volunteered at the watauga humane society and taken care of friends dogs countless times. I'm here to help!

Tyler was very easy to work with and very accommodating to my schedule. He kept me informed of how the pups were doing while I was away and did an excellent job taking care of them. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again in the future.
I reached out to Tyler through Rover in a bind and he was available to watch my pup on very short notice. He was very flexible with scheduling and kept me updated on how my dog was doing all day. I really appreciated it! My dog came home wiped out and relaxed, a sign that he had a great time. I will definitely use Tyler as a petsitter again!
Tyler has a caring energy that translates wonderfully with all animals. My dog Sam loves to run around with Tyler when I am away on trips and I always come back and see the shine in her old eyes glowing bright! The joy he has brought Sam and I over the year has been greatly appreciated and I know he will be a great fit for any pup who enjoys getting their ya yas out!

A typical day
From short walks through the campus of Appalachian State to hikes on my favorite trails around Boone, NC, your dog can be as lazy or as active as you would like. Each dog will have the opportunity to walk or get as much exercise as they like at local dog parks, hiking trails as well as my backyard. I am free monday through wednesday until 3:30 pm and completely free Thursday through Sunday. My roomates love dogs just as much as I do and we even have a large futon mattress in our living room that is used as a big dog bed. Despite our love for animals, we don't have any full time pets other than the ones that live in our respective parents' homes.
