My childhood Labs would impatiently wait by the door every time anyone would say “walk”. We thought we could outsmart them by spelling it out but it was only a matter of time before they learned that that meant they were going to get a good sniff around the neighborhood! Now, my 10 year old Chihuahua mix and I enjoy walks around the neighborhood almost as much as we enjoy hiking Maine’s beautiful mountains. I currently work at A Dog’s Tale Daycare in Kittery, ME. Taking care of dozens of dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities has been so rewarding! I would love to give your dog the exercise they need! Let’s take a walk around the neighborhood or the local trails!

A typical day
Your dog’s physical and mental exercise is important! Our walks will be at the pace of your dog; whether they want to sniff one spot for 10 minutes or need someone to run alongside them. Is your dog a social butterfly? I can take them through town for lots of interaction! Is your dog more of a lone-wolf? I can take them on a local trail through the woods! Have a dog that could use a hike with elevation? Let’s talk!
