Huge half acre fenced in backyard!!
Pet care experience
Dog Mom to the sweetest 35lb 4 year old dog! He is a beagle mutt, loves people and thinks he’s human. If your dog were to stay with us, it's good for you to know that I work from home and am able to spend time with the doggo throughout the day. We have a larger fenced in backyard that allows for a great play area to run around and play fetch! We have a doggie door that leads to the backyard and we even have a dog run within the backyard as well! We live in the quiet suburbs and have a neighborhood full of dog families, where we can arrange play dates. Your dog(s) will not go without walks and plenty of play time and potty breaks! If you come and stay with you, please know we are experienced giving our dog a pill daily, via pill pockets. We love taking our dog for hikes, dog beach (when it’s warm enough) and any other dog friendly activity we can go get him out and about. We love dogs and are excited to meet you and your dog(s)!! We like to stay active and will make sure your pup gets plenty of exercise!

Having access to a massive fenced in back yard complete with trees and open area to let out energy was great for my dog! Along with a doggy door so the dogs could come and go as they please made it that much more enjoyable for their stay. Their dog Copley was super laid back but also loved playing around in the back yard so there was no shortage of entertainment. I would highly recommend having anyone's dogs stay at Tyler's!

Your dog must be able to play well with other dogs. We do not want a dog with severe separation anxiety where this can lead to destruction of furniture, clothing/shoes, etc. We would like to know if there are any triggers for your dog, good and bad, level of energy, issues with other dogs, dietary restrictions(types of food and treats and their frequency). Any behavioral training you’d like for us to maintain is important to know upfront.
A typical day
We have a big back yard that seems bigger than some dog parks. We can play fetch, and have a hilly neighborhood to support a healthy long walk! Our neighborhood is full of dog families and if your dog loves to socialize, they can play with our dog or we can also arrange for play dates with the neighbors’ dogs as well. The neighbor’s dogs are also under 40lbs. We love taking our dog for hikes, dog beach (when it’s warm enough) and any other dog friendly activity we can go get him out and about.
