Pet care experience
I have a black lab/springer mix that is 8 years old. I love spending time with animals, which is the main reason I am applying to be a sitter on Rover (the extra funds are an added bonus!). I have lived with dogs my entire life and got my passion for them from living in a city with a no leash law, which essentially is heaven on earth. I probably had more dog friends than human friends growing up! I'm hoping to start a shelter some day and I believe I have the skills to get there and am going to gain some experience on Rover in the process. I can't wait to meet your dogs and get to know their individual personalities! I work full time, but am very flexible as long as there is communication around it.

I have known Tyler for the entire life of his beautiful, old Lab/Springer (and far longer) and I have never met someone who loves their dog more. From several hour jaunts through the woods, (leaving no smells unsmelled and no trees un-peed,) to car rides, playdates, and all the treats, that GoodBoy couldn't have asked for a better human companion. I believe that he would no doubt bring the same level of affection to any doggo he has the pleasure of meeting. :)
Tyler has been a dog's best friend ever since I can remember. We grew up in the same small town neighborhood, where there were no leash laws, and almost every time we would head to the local park a neighborhood dog would follow us. We often got to know the dog well before the owner! Tyler is a natural when it comes to handling dogs and has many years of experience being around many breeds in all shapes and sizes. I highly recommend Tyler caring for your beloved pup!
I have spent time with Tyler and his pets at his home and have seen how great of a pet-parent he is firsthand. He is attentive, caring, and knowledgeable about dogs. I would definitely trust him to watch my own pets and would recommend him to others for pet care!
I have a wild and sometimes difficult dog and Tyler is always with him. He is patient in handling him. My dog always enjoys playing with Tyler. Treats his own dog very well.

1. I would want to know is if the dog has any sort of aggressive tendencies toward other animals. This will inform my decision if they can walk with other dogs or not. 2. I need to see up to date health/vaccine records prior to a booking. If you are a repeat customer I will keep a copy of the vaccines on hand, until the next time they are due. 3. Any commands to help me and your pet have the best time. 4. Games/toys that your pet prefers.
A typical day
My favorite place to walk is through some trees, a little outside of the city. I joke about one of my hobbies being visiting all of the dog parks in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. But give me a dog and some fresh air and anywhere is good. :)
