As a self employed dog walker myself, it is hard to find someone to cover my annual leave periods. Tyla was willing to cover one of my clients whose Great Dane needed walking while I was away. Tyla joined me for 2 weeks of visits prior to my annual leave, getting used to handling a giant breed dog and making sure the dog was comfortable with him. Tyla is not only calm and patient with dogs but he is also reliable, communicates well. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Tyla to cover for my annual leave in future.

For my dog kairo, he is around 28kg and he is a male Doberman. I treat him like he is my child. I try to teach and train him as much as possible while making it fun and I try to let him meet as many dogs as possible on walks so that he is happy. At home he doesn’t cause many problems but I keep everything tidy and hoover his mess up regularly.

I would love to know the dogs personality traits, are they reactive. What dogs they do and don’t like. Every little detail that may come into place while with them or out on a walk. So that I know what to expect. As well as anything the dog doesn’t like and anything the dog loves!!!
A typical day
Play fetch, go on runs. Do fun training activities. If they’re friendly I’ll let them meet other dogs and get stimulation that way. There’s many things I can do to make the dogs happy even if that’s just keeping them company if they’re a shy dog!!

As of right now I am not working so my schedule mon-fri is empty so I am available. But weekends I do compete in football matches in the mornings however I am available after!!
