Tyelisa was very responsive in setting up a meet and greet (we needed someone on somewhat short notice for the holidays after another sitting canceled) and she acted very sweet to our dog lily when we met her. She didn’t send pictures everyday, but did keep us periodically updated over our 10 day trip. We were happy with finding someone last minute who seemed to be treating lily well, but we were very disappointed when we returned home. Immediately when we walked in our house we could tell something was off-there was a strong smell of pee that hit us right away. Turned out lily had pee multiple times (from what we could Tell it looked like it could have been up to ten different spots) on our kitchen floor. She does pee when she’s nervous, but this seemed excessive and was obviously never cleaned, just left to dry which left sticky, dried pee marks all over our hardwood floors. There was a chocolate candy wrapper on the floor (we assumed/hoped lily hadn’t eaten anything she shouldn’t have) and There was no water in either water bowl (one bowl looked like it hadn’t been changed in days, it had particles and some fruit flies in it). When we reached out to Tyelisa to ask about these things, we never heard back. It’s been 3 weeks now and despite multiple cleanings of my kitchen floor I can’t seem to get the smell totally out. We were looking forward to having another sitter for lily, but we unfortunately would not use Tyelisas services again.

When my dog Bess developed insulin deficiency diabetes, I was really weary of leaving her with a sitter. I asked Tyelisa to come over a few times to interact with her before I had to leave for a trip and they got along really well, and Tyelisa took notes on all of Bess’ needs. I was still pretty nervous about it but Tyelisa sent lots of pictures and even FaceTimed me when I had free time so I could see for myself that Bess was okay.
