We hired Twila for one night of housesitting while we were away for a funeral. I have two dogs and two cats, and the stay was ordered for care of the two dogs as she didn't include cat care in her profile, and it was one night. When I came home, my cats were not there. Not only did she let my cats out leaving the door open "5 minutes", she didn't have the courtesy to talk to a distraught pet parent on the phone so I could ascertain the details of what happened and instead sent a series of texts and told me to contact Rover emergency services. I am heartbroken and looking for my cats. Rover was a lot more sympathetic than this person was, who just told me the cats were not in contract. So I guess that means it's ok to let senior cats out of the house on the fourth of July weekend.
