I met Turi during an animal adoption event. While volunteering to help homeless animals find their forever homes, she had a cat carrier full of newborn kittens that she was caring for because they had to be bottle fed. I was amazed at the ease she had in dealing with such small, fragile babies. Countless times the local shelter would ask her to foster "just one more". She always had room in her heart and home for another. Her dedication to homeless animals is what inspired me to expand my volunteering to include fostering. Whenever I had a question or concern with a kitten or momma cat, I knew I could count on Turi to give me the right advice. Turi is one of those rare, exceptional people who thinks nothing of giving up their time and energy to help the most vulnerable members of our community - homeless animals. There are very few people that I would trust to care for my dogs - Turi is one of them. You couldn't ask for a more caring and responsible person.
