Pet care experience
Pets are special to our lives. They can ne sensitive and emotional animals who need someone who can read them and understand their needs. It is more than just taking them outside or meeting their needs. It is making sure they have human connection and interaction while being stimulated with training. Dogs need attention, grooming, play, training and affection as well as food, water, and bathroom breaks. Each dog is different and I am wonderful at sensing what a dog needs as well as upkeeping their obedience or agility training. There is nothing better coming back to a well behaved dog! They are our best friends and care for us deeply. We lead busy lives and need an extra hand to be with our dogs. Having them cared for relieves so much worry and stress for us as we move on taking care of our needs. This is what I am about!
Reviews
Tula was a great fit for our nervous skittish dog. Tula has a calm presence to her and that really helped our dog settle down in her home. We’d definitely let Tula watch Amber again the next time we visit Portland.
Tula is very competent and caring! Daniel came home super relaxed and happy
Got great updates and pics of Bernadette during the day. Took great care of her.
I highly recommend Tula for your doggy babysitting needs. My boy was so happy when I picked him up, that I could tell he was well cared for and had a really fun day. 5 stars for sure!

Safety, trust & environment
Typically, I work from home and take breaks approximately ever 2 hours for a walk, stretch, play, feeding, or whatever for the dog to be stimulated and happy. The dog will be resting near my work desk. I only leave for errands occasionally which last around 90 minutes at a time before I return home. I live with another animal loving woman around 30 years old. The environment I provide is peaceful, soft, cool, and nuturing. My home is in a peaceful low traffic apartment complex which is insulated from the busy cross street. I do have routes I walk that are low in people & other distractions for dogs with that need. Also my front yard is low distraction if your dog likes to sunbathe (on leash with me)

Information Tula M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has separation anxiety, allergies, behavior issues, or is not socialble. All this information let's me know if the environment is a good match.
A typical day
A typical day would be to feed, water and walk within an hour after drop off if the dog is up for it. I work from home and can take shorter breaks ever 2 hours or longer breaks every 4 hours. Depending on the needs of the dog depends on the way the day rolls. The dog may need more rest and companionship, which I happily provide. They will be close enough to me that I can read their body language for needs that may arise. If the dog is high energy and sociable, I will walk the dog to the local Laurelhurst Park for socializing, exercise, and ball play.
