My wife and I have a Pomeranian named Casey. We don't have any children so we think of him as our child. Just like any other kid he is spoiled. Casey is our second Pom. Before him we had Cocoa, a girl dog that we loved very much. She passed at a young age and we were broken hearted but Casey helped us to get over her loss. It is amazing how dogs have such distinct personalities, just like people. It is equally amazing how intelligent they are. And just like people they need certain things. They need to know they are loved and secure and Casey gets plenty of both. And that is how I will treat your dog, like they belong to me.
