I had a rescue dog for several years and always did everything possible to provide all the love and care she deserved. Whether that meant exploring on hikes, teaching new tricks, or going to the vet at any hour of the day, her wellness and happiness came first. I've been there for neighbors, friends, and family who have needed someone to spend time with their pup.

Our 5 month old English Bulldog trusted him from first minute. Motja had a grate time .Tucker is amazing.
Tucker made sure that Alice and Tonka were happy and comfortable. He took them on walks, to the dog park and generally gave them lots of attention! I know when they’ve been taken good care of because they are calm and relaxed when I get home. Thank you Tucker!
Tucker is great! I consider myself a little bit of a nervous nellie when it comes to leaving my dog, Gheddy, overnight. Tucker eased my worries by providing picture updates and texts on how my boy was doing. Tucker was so great, he even took Gheddy on a hike! I really felt like Tucker made sure that Gheddy remained safe and well loved while I was away. I will have to make sure Tucker is available to watch my precious boy the next time I am out of town.
Tucker has been terrific with our 90lb Shepard/Bernese mix who has a lot of trust issues. I had the pleasure of meeting Tucker’s last dog, an adorable rescue that he worked tirelessly with to eliminate the bulk of her fear from her less-than-ideal precious home. Tucker is a caring and gentle guy who I’d trust any dog (or person) with.

It's important to know what a dog's preferences are. Understanding whether they're food or toy-motivated. Learning how their recall is, and what they respond to. How often they like to go outside and level of attention needed when boarding. Any medications or items specific to the animal are also extremely important to know.
A typical day
My goal is to take dogs where they're both comfortable and can get their energy out. This varies depending on the dog, but I will work to understand their preferences. Locations are often hiking trains of all shapes and sizes, wooded areas, as well as fenced off-leash areas. While indoors, practicing tricks, learning new ones, and playing with their favorite toy will always be part of a typical day.

Most days I work from home and have open availability. I can usually be flexible, including weekends. I do my best to keep my calendar up to date. I can visit your pet in your home or your pup is welcome to stay with me at my home.
