Pet care experience
I am a force-free certified professional dog trainer (CTC) offering in (my) home dog boarding for dog-social dogs. They will live in my home with me and my family, including two dogs and a cat. I have extensive experience working with behavioural dogs, working in shelter, obedience, sport dog, and puppy training. I am slowly returning from maternity leave and am looking to offer boarding services again. Going away and leaving your loved one doesn't need to be stressful. I offer boarding on a limited basis to ensure they are a good fit for me and my household. Your dog will live in my home with me, and be treated like one of the family. I can accommodate raw fed dogs, and dogs who need any medication. They will receive exercise daily depending on their needs. Please note that no training will be provided during a standard board. Dogs must be crate trained as they will be crated for meals and various other scenarios. A trial night is required for any new clients. Let me know if there are special needs or requirements that your dog has. I am happy to accommodate. I understand the stress of leaving your loved one with someone else, so please feel free to give me detailed instructions. I do require a trial night prior to any extended or out of town booking to ensure they are a god fit and that they are able to settle away from home.
A typical day
I will tailor the needs to your dog. I offer both mental and physical enrichment each day dependant on your dogs needs. They will have as needed/wanted access to a fenced back yard and will get daily walks, play or other enrichment depending on the dogs needs. I do off leash hike my own dogs a few times a week, and it may be possible for your dog to join. I have a toddler who is with me all day, and so your dog must be comfortable with children.

I am currently working form home and able to accommodate your dog. There will be times where they are left unsupervised, but contained within my home, but this will not be longer than a couple hours usually.
