Pet care experience
My husband, myself, and our two dogs will provide a loving home-away-from home for your fur baby! (Check out @mountaindogduo on Instagram for a peek into our pups' lives.) We live near Peet's Hill and frequently hike. We also both grew up with dogs of many breeds and dispositions. With our flexible schedules, your adult, senior dog, or puppy can have frequent mealtimes and bathroom breaks, and we are happy to individualize his or her care. We have a host of toys, but you are welcome to bring along your pooch's favorites, too! Having grown up on a ranch and worked as a veterinary assistant for a time, I have extensive experience with animal welfare. Request as many daily text and photo updates as you'd like, too! Please Note: Our policy is to meet and greet at least three days before the scheduled stay so both ourselves and the client have a full day to consider whether it is a good fit for both parties before confirming the booking.

Trynn and her dogs are wonderful! I know that when I drop my pup off, she is in good "paws." Spok and Worf are such great playmates.
Trynn took wonderful care of our two corgis while we were gone for a long weekend. Her two dogs were energetic (and patient) playmates, and she and her husband were great about giving our pups lots of exercise and new experiences. We got lots of pictures and updates while we were gone, and when we had an unexpected flight delay on our way home they facilitated a late-night pickup which was much appreciated and went above and beyond. I've known Trynn since we were 7, and she has always been the most compassionate, caring and loving animal owner. She doesn't hesitate to help animals of all kinds and is someone who will put the needs of pets, hers or not, before her own. She genuinely cares for and treats animals with so much love and respect. She is not only responsible but incredibly attentive and knowledgeable when it comes to dogs and most any other animal. I wouldn't hesitate to entrust my pet care to her because I know she would take as good of care or even better care than myself. She has always been amazing with dogs and there is no one I would trust more than her with the care of my pets!
I have known Trynn for over 20 years and if there was ever anyone I would want to take care of my fur baby it would be her. She is extremely caring, loving, and attentive. When we were in Jr High, she rescued a newborn kitten and bottle fed her ever couple hours and Trynn has never loss that sense of responsibility and dedication to pets in need. A couple months ago Trynn recognized that my senior cat had an ear infection, before I even noticed any change in her behavior. I would recommend Trynn as a dog caregiver to anyone looking for a capable and dedicated animal lover. Her many years of taking care of her various animals (dogs, chickens, birds, cats, fish, frogs, chinchillas, etc.) make her the perfect person to take care of your dog.
