Golden Daddy!
Pet care experience
I'm a parent to a sweet golden retriever named Rio. He's my fourth from the same breeder out of Oregon. Rio and I lived in Alaska for the first 2 years of his life (I was up there for 27), then road tripped to Nevada where I taught high school last year. We are currently spending the fall in Manitowoc, WI visiting family, and are planning on heading to Reno or Tucson for the winter. We love road trips together. Rio isn't just my dog, he's my best friend, and we go most places together. Our favorite thing to do is swim in lakes!

Troy has over 20 years of teaching experience and is great with both people and dogs. He has always had dogs and included them on his hikes, get-togethers and most trips where it would be appropriate to include a dog. His golden retriever Rio is probably one of the most cared dogs I have ever met and is lucky to get to go on many adventures.
If I have a dog friend, its Troy! Troy has had a pupper or two for as long as I've known him and those dogs get out more than any other dog I know. Hikes, bikes, car rides, beaches, Troy and his dogs have a great time. Troy is gentle with his dogs, and they are well socialized and friendly to all. I love leaving my dog with Troy, and Skiff comes back worn out and happy!
Troy is great with my dogs, and they love him! He has taken them for hikes through the mountains and to the local dog parks. He created a relationship with them so they were always excited to see him. They knew it was play time! Having his own multiple dogs for years gives Troy the experience necessary to take dogs on safe, fun excursions! I highly recommend him!

Availability
I'm a retired teacher that is on an adventure with Rio, and not currently working. We're very flexible when we're not on trips, or with advance notice. Rio doesn't have to come to your house if that's an issue for overnight care, as he has other human friends. We're staying with family in the area.
