Will Treat Your Dog like my Own ☺️

Pet care experience

As a fellow dog owner, I understand how important our pups are to us- they’re more than just pets, they're family. I also understand the uneasy feeling you get, knowing that you’ll have to leave your best friend in the hands of a stranger. My job is to make sure that you feel comfortable knowing that they’re cared for and treated the best they possibly can be. As mentioned, I do have a dog of my own. Her name is Chloe and she is a 4.5 year old American Bully. I was fortunate enough to be able to have raised her since she was 10 weeks old. This means 2 things for you. 1. That I understand that as cute as puppies are, they are little land sharks and 2. That I know how important those puppy years are for socialization and training. I would absolutely love to care for your puppy. Having a discriminated dog breed, has made me prioritize the use of proper training techniques in the hopes of reducing the stigma surrounding bully breeds. All that said, I will treat your dog with all the love and attention that they deserve. All breeds and ages welcome! If your dog has any special needs or fun quirks that I should know about prior to caring for them, please let me know (ie. Not good with dogs, reactive on a lead etc.) Thanks for getting this far in my bio and I look forward to caring for your loved ones ☺️

Tristen has been an incredible person to find to look after my special needs dog for extended periods of time and with great care. Everytime I come back my house looks better than we left it and my dogs are healthy/happy. I would never hesitate to recommend his care.

Tristen was a phenomenal dog sitter! He was so attentive to our dog Pepper, and our needs as owners. Tristen took great care of Pepper, and he kept us informed with updates and photos. He also took great care of our home while we were away. Most importantly, Pepper loved her time with Tristen. We'll definitely be inviting Tristen to dog sit for us in the future.

In your home, it is your rules, and I will follow them to a T. I would love to schedule a meet and greet to determine a right fit. During this meeting, I’d like to know about all of things that your pup is and isn’t allowed to do, allergies, tendencies etc. I’d also like to know how often they typically go out to use the bathroom, and how much exercise they need. My goal is for you to come back to a happy and well-exercised pup!

Information Tristen M. would like to know about your pet

Every dog is unique and that’s perfectly fine! Please let me know of any and all quirks that I should know about. This includes how they are on a lead, comfort levels around humans/other dogs their reactivity/anxious levels, what they’re allergic to etc. This information is important to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for your pup ☺️ When we meet, I’ll ask several questions to make sure that you feel comfortable leaving your dog in my care.

A typical day

I love providing an atmosphere that stimulates your dog mentally and one that provides them an opportunity to use up all of that pent up energy. I do this through engaging in some favourites, like fetch and tug of war, but also through the use of training games and mental puzzles. Depending on where you live and your dog’s comfort levels, I’d love to take them on walks in your neighborhood, play sessions in your backyard or in a secluded area on a longer lead ?

I work for the government and am often wfh. This allows me the flexibility to let your pup out, participate in much needed play sessions, and to make sure they don’t get into any mischief
