Hi! My name is Tristen. I am a UBC student in the faculty of forestry and I love all things outdoorsy, especially dogs! I am currently raising money to go to South Africa on a community service trip this summer, and I am extremely excited about this opportunity to earn funds while doing something I absolutely love: playing with dogs! I have been pet sitting since I was 8 years old, before I even had a dog of my own. I adore dogs of all shapes and sizes, and as the owner of a lovely, but poorly trained, dog (I was unprepared as a 10 year-old), I have no problem accommodating occasionally ‘difficult’ dogs.
