Pet care experience
I’ve been a dog walker and dog sitter for upwards of 10 years and have worked at boarding facilities and veterinary hospitals for more than 7. I think it is much better for your pets health and well being to be home or even at my home in a far less stressful environment. As a vet student, and having loved animals more than anything, I put a lot of effort and am very careful with how I treat animals. I am currently a full time veterinary student studying almost entirely remotely, so I will be available to care for your pet the entire day. In my own home, I am in a flat with a several parks nearby, so if you wish to leave your pet with me, they will be outside often and for longs periods of time, if you wish, as I love being outside. If I am at your home, I am able and willing to do whatever it is you wish, but love taking pets on walks and giving them lots of attention.

Tristan is wonderful!!! My German shepherd Bond spent two weeks with Tristan and his girlfriend. They looked after Bond with such love and joy. We feel so lucky to have met them.

It is very helpful to know your dog’s eating, drinking habits, if your dog has medical needs or is in medication or has any conditions or allergies.
A typical day
I will walk the dogs, can play catch. As I live close to the river and spend a lot of time near the river as I am a full time rower, I will often bring the dogs to the river for walks, they will have the opportunity to socialize with other dogs and people, if you deem it appropriate. The dog while not outside will get semi-constant attention if it would like while I am working on my school work. I have had two dogs and two cats of my own for a good portion of my life, especially growing up and being the one responsible one for them, it is easy and fun to incorporate their needs into my day.
