Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a pup myself - first family dogs, then raising my own Golden Retriever from 10 weeks old through a week past his 14th birthday when he passed. I trained him up to a Canine Good Citizen certification and I’m currently in the process of training my youngest Border Collie through CGC as well. I’m experienced in dog care and training in all life stages and, while I love goofy puppies, teenaged, and adult dogs, I have a real soft spot for sweet old senior dogs. I’m always making new canine friends and I’d love to meet yours next!

Great dog walker, my little baby girl Nora is always in a great mood when I get home. Tristan keeps you up to date on how each walk goes and you can tell really cares for your pets. 10/10 would recommend!
Tristan is great with our two Australian Shepherds! We’ve had him do lunchtime check ins during the week and occasional late night/morning check ins when we are out of town. He has experience training his own dogs which is incredibly helpful because our 18 month old has been exhibiting undesired behaviors on a leash. It’s great to know they are still getting training and attention when we aren’t able to do it ourselves. I highly recommend Tristan!

A typical day
I stay very active with my Border Collies and you’ll find us out at the Fiesta Island or Grape Street dog parks or hiking Cowles Mountain several times a week (we do stay off the trails during the hottest months and tend to stay near the water where the dogs can play safely).

I’m currently working part time and can generally be available 6 to 8 hours per day and 5 to 6 days per week. I’m most flexible from mid-morning to early evening.
