Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Trisha and I graduated from high school at Santa Catalina in May 2017. I obtained my bachelor's degree in animal science from UC Davis in June 2022. I plan on going to the UC Davis Vet School in the future and establishing my own clinic in California one day, so I would love to get as much experience with animals as possible. It is my passion to help animals and people that fuels me to pursue a higher education and become a veterinarian, so I can help animals at a local and global scale. I plan on being a small and exotic animal veterinarian, but veterinary medicine is so cool, so I'm interested by all the specialties and practices! I have interned and worked at various veterinary clinics, where I have gained many valuable skills, such as administering vaccines, running blood work, reception work, restraining, and anesthesia monitoring. I plan on using the money I earn from this job to help pay for my vet school education. Thank you so much and I would really appreciate any job offer!
Reviews
My pups absolutely adore Trisha. She will make a great vet someday with her patience and thoughtfulness!
Trisha was so generous with her time and efforts with our beloved 6-month-old Retriever, Charley. She traveled 40 minutes to pick up and drop her off and really made our trip to Big Sur and our day at Esalen so smooth and stress-free. We loved the photos and updates that Trisha shared throughout the day and we knew Charley was in very capable hands! I highly recommend Trisha for all of your dog-sitting needs and when we are back in NoCal I will be reaching out again. Thank you Trisha!
Trisha accommodated Koda last minute which was very helpful! He got to hang out with Elvis and seemed to have had a blast! We would definitely book again in the future.
As always my dog came home happy after staying with Trisha. She is so amazing and caring. My dog loves her and when we dropped her off she was happy to be there!

Safety, trust & environment
As a pet-sitter, I almost velcro myself your pets for the first few hours or days to learn more about their behavior and energy levels. When I take them outside to potty, I am always attentive to where they step and to make sure no potential threats are around. I let them decide if they want to sleep on their bed or they are welcome to sleep in mine. I usually take them out for walks 2x a day, but can do more if necessary. I send daily and constant updates/pictures of your fur baby to make sure you don't miss them too much!

Information Trisha Z. would like to know about your pet
I welcome all animals because I will be dealing with all types of animals when I'm a veterinarian, so I want to learn about each different species and the special types of care each animal requires. It will be a great learning experience that will help me get into my dream school (the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine). Some things I would like to know about your pets are if they have allergies? Is there is anything I should look out for when I take care of them? How do you deal with bad behavior? Any emergency contacts? Does your pet suffer from separation anxiety? If you have any questions for me, please don't hesitate to ask me.
A typical day
I live in a very safe and sunny neighborhood that is very close to a dog park(10 min walk from my house). If your dog or cat has a toy they love so much, please feel free to bring it along with your pet, so I can play with them. If I have to run some errands and your dog loves car rides, I will definitely bring them with me. At home, I will sometimes watch Netflix and your pets are more than welcome to cuddle with me on my bed. If there are any other activities your pet enjoys, please tell me, so I can provide your pet with the most excellent care. If I take care of your pets at your home, I will take them out for 30 min walks, play fetch, and give them the attention they need.
