Pet care experience
I have over 5 years experience as a Veterinary Assistant caring for pets professionally. Growing up I always had pets and have a strong understanding and love for animals. I also have had several cats and a dog of my own, so I am very familiar with the needs and care of pets. I have also worked frequently as a Nanny and pet sitter while the family was away. I have completed dog training classes at my college and puppy training with my own dog.

Trisha was an excellent choice for our weekend getaway. It was our first time leaving Xena, our German Shepherd, home alone without her fury brother and sister. Trisha was very accommodating and spent a lot of quality time walking Xena so she didn’t feel left out. She also took care of our cat. She was great with updates and pictures. I would recommend and call upon Trisha in the future.
So happy having Trisha stay with our fur baby. Thanks. We definitely will use her again.

I am physically fit and able to take dogs out for long walks and plenty of play time. When I am pet sitting I encourage both dogs and cats to get exercise and try to find ways to get them to play. I am reliable and will always show up for your pet during scheduled visits. I know how much they rely on the pet sitter while their family is away. I always make sure pets have clean water and fresh food, treats, love, attention, play time, walks and clean up messes. I look forward to caring for your pets while you are away.

I would like to know if they need medication given and what method seems to work well with them. Also any behavioral issues they might have, if they are aggressive with other animals, and their normal feeding/potty schedule.
A typical day
I believe a well exercised dog/cat is a well behaved dog/cat. I will provide plenty of long walks, outdoor play, and loving attention. Dogs and cats both benefit from mental & physical stimulation, so I will find what toys or games they like to play to interact with them.

I am currently taking classes online to finish my B.S. degree in Environmental Science, and am not working right now so I have plenty of time to care and give attention to your pet.
