We are a family that has a huge heart for animals! Pets become our families and we will treat your pet like one of our own! Two furry members of our family include a Shih Tzu (Baylor) & Border Collie/ Australian Shepherd mix (Annie). I will not take on too many pets at one time in my home. I hope to maintain personal quality time to furry friends that we bring in. I feel we can do so with lower numbers at one time versus hosting to many. I hope that can put your mind at ease in knowing that your furry member will receive a lot of one on one attention! I want you to feel comfortable and for your furry family member(s) to feel at home during their stay. I have owned dogs and they have been a big part of my life for more than 20 years. During 12 years of living a military life, it became normal to help take care of our friends furry family members. I will be very happy to provide updates through pictures, videos, texts, or emails. I have two children who are excellent with pets. They have not had a year go by that they did not have a furry friend. I have taught them from a very young age of how to appropriately behave when they are in company of other animals or petting them! Because I do have a family with children, I will not be able to accept any aggressive dogs into my home. I would not want for anyone's furry family members to be stressed during their stay and I need to maintain a completely safe environment for my children. So to make this a wonderful experience for pet owner's and my family, I think that it is best to decline now. I do hope you understand. I know there are many others who would be more equipped in helping someone in that situation. I have also made the personal choice to not accept Pit Bulls at this time. Because of this, on pick up day I will charge an additional fee of $20 if your pet will be staying 2 hours past the 24 hour time. (Due to the fact that I am unable to book anyone else for that day).
