Sweetie Paws Pet Care
Pet care experience
I have been regularly pet & housesitting for the past three years. I had been watching pets for friends & family members more intermittently for several years prior. It’s a great way to bring in a side income and suits my lifestyle right now. I really enjoy the special relationship I get to experience with so many adorable animals. I initially match an animal’s friendliness & affection. Building trust gradually with hesitant ones, and making the lovies feel loved all day & night. I am happy to care for up to two dogs at a time. In addition I am happy to watch cats, chickens, fish, lizards, guinea pigs, you name it. I also care for gardens & houseplants as needed. I have some experience with aging and elderly animals, as well as energetic and needy puppies. I can administer medicine, and have administered insulin to a cat. Let’s talk more if your animal has these kind of needs.
Reviews
Trish is the best!! She is our go to and our dogs absolutely love when she watches them. Pretty sure they like her more than us now
Wonderful sitter. She was very communicative, kind, and trustworthy! We will definitely reach out to her the next time we travel!!
Trish was a fantastic sitter for our 2 cats and dogs - she was incredibly reliable and worked with their various needs/levels of neediness. I would not hesitate to recommend her as a sitter.
Trish M. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.

Safety, trust & environment
I primarily offer in-home care for pets. I would consider watching an animal at my place, but it’s not my normal service. I come to your house with a few bags and stay until the end of the job. In terms of cleaning my policy is to leave things as I found it. Sparkling clean home when I arrive? Sparkling clean home when you come back. Are things a little messy & you just don’t have time? No worries, I won’t add anything to it and I won’t say a peep to anyone.
Information Trish M. would like to know about your pet
I like to know all about your pet’s general personality, routine, habits, and any quirks. Do they have allergies or ailments that recur? Any other unusual behavior that I may notice but would be normal for them? What is the food-sharing policy in your household (i.e.) giving them human food of any kind)? How are your dogs socially; do they need to stay separate from other animals or are they very friendly? Can your dog go on errands or to another house with me if a dog-friendly opportunity arises? The more I know the better substitute human I can be, and the smoother things will be in your absence. I will do an in person meet & greet before the actual assignment for no charge. Also, if you have cameras around please disclose that to me. It’s no problem but I appreciate transparency as it is a sensitive situation on both sides.
A typical day
I generally get into a rhythm of activities with pets pretty quickly and parts of the day when I’m on a break or done working are bonding times. I’m always up for a walk if they are, sometimes several times a day. Around the neighborhood, on trails, or to a nearby dog park depending on the dog and the area. We can play ball or with toys. I’m all about cuddling up with and petting animals in the evening & early morning. I often sleep with dogs or cats in bed with me and tend to enjoy the company.

Availability
A little about my schedule: I have a full time work from home computer job, for which my work week is Tues-Sat. I will set up shop at a table in your home and keep your pets company for a majority of the time and cater to their needs. I’d say my specialty is keeping pups & kitties company and maintaining a sense of normalcy in your absence. I can provide very frequent potty breaks for your pups most of the time, but if I have an appointment or social event, a 4 hour window is the shortest I’m comfortable promising. Let’s chat more if this is a special concern for you.
