Animals have always been a part of my life-I grew up looking after dogs, cats, ducks, goats, chickens and a horse-😊 Now that I have retired from teaching, I have been enjoying looking after dogs again while their humans are elsewhere. My Gordon Setter,( Bentley)has become used to having guests holidaying with us.From puppies to much older ones, lively, sleepy, well trained and those needing a little more help, we've made a lot of friends! We always meet 'new' dogs and owners for a walk and then a visit to sniff round the house and garden well before they come to stay so we can get to know each other/make sure everyone will be happy/take any notes on special needs. I'm always pleased to see dogs coming back time and again, wagging their way into the house,and also meeting new ones.
