I grew up with a lab who sadly passed just two years ago. I have 10 years of experience caring for dogs. I have done dog walking, pet sitting, and boarding. I have experience caring for dogs aged 2 months to 15 years. I love finding creative ways to provide engagement and stimulation for dogs based on their personality and energy.

Triona took great care of my dog! She watched her for a few weeks before I was able to move into my new house. She messaged me immediately when my dog got a tiny scratch and was really easy to communicate with. She even let me visit my dog to check on her, so I got to see how happy and comfortable my dog was at her home. My dog isn't always easygoing, and also takes medication 3 times a day, but she had no problem handing that. I feel very lucky that we found such a great sitter for my dog!
I have seen Triona work with dogs of all sizes, demeanors, and ages. In each situation, she provided the dog with the best fit. 1) Playful, but not unstructured/too loose with puppies 2) An excellent mix of exercise and downtime for older dogs and 3) Affirming, active exercise and play with Labs, Schnauzers, and other breeds age 2-10. She is respectful of pet owners' routines and homes. I recommend her for dog walking and dog caretaking without reservation.

I have a sizeable fenced in yard and lots of nooks and crannies for a dog to make their own. All dogs are different, some need their own space and others need near constant companionship, I can provide everything in between. My family had a 80 pound lab in this house for a number of years. This is a family home, while I will be in charge of the dog;s care there are three other dog lovers to give your dog lots of attention and love. I have experience house sitting and pet sitting. If I am dropping by for your dog(s), I can always collect mail, water plants, turn a light on, etc.

Please let me know of any special needs, allergies, medications, and behaviors I should be on alert to attend to. Caring for the health and safety of your dog is my number one priority.
A typical day
I love to play and run around in the backyard with dogs. For higher energy dogs, I love to walk in the forest preserve near my house. There are a variety of parks within a half mile of my home. For more relaxed dogs, they would happily sit in a patch of sun while I work in the garden.

Availability
I am a college student home for the summer. I would love to board more dogs! I am available for boarding throughout the week and can also provide drop by visits, feedings, walks, etc. Depending on the needs of your dog, I can be home with them all day.
