Pet care experience
You have seen it, some people just seem to be gifted at calming animals down when no one else can. I am delighted to say animals and I just seem to understand each other. This is especially true with dogs, horses, cats, and tame birds. I've never had a time when I didn't have animals, and I'd be delighted to care for yours like my own. I'm happy to meet with you and your pets prior to your scheduled appointment but will be shocked if we don't get along.

This was the first time leaving my dog with a pet sitter, but after our meet and greet, I could tell how caring Tricia was, she was someone I could trust with my Juliette. Tricia did a great job caring for my sweet dog! Her attention and support to my furbaby was greatly appreciated.
Oh, Tricia is simply amazing, almost beyond words! I believe the best way to explain is to tell our story. Tricia was a neighbor I knew from watching her walk all kinds of dogs and she would always stop at my fence with the dogs when my Dalila was in the yard. Dalila is my King Charles Cavalier, she had no doggie companions and loved to great the neighborhood dogs. I had never had a doggie birth before and my vet kept reassuring me that I really didn't need to do anything when time came Dalila would naturally know what to do, but it seemed that it was taking too long and Dalila seemed to be distress. I didn't want to move her by myself, but I heard Tricia coming by with the dogs and rushed out to ask for help carrying Dalila to the car. Tricia quickly put the dogs in my fenced backyard and came inside. She checked Dalila out and asked me some questions. She assured me that yes Dalila was indeed in labor and showed me how I could feel her contractions. She told me that Dalila was doing just great and since she wasn't damp from sweating, her breathing was heavy, but not not unusually so, that she was just in labor not in distress. She said she would happily help me carry her to the car, but that the moving and veterinarian trip could put her distress. The whole time she was talking with me she was petting Dalila and Dalila was laying there and seemed much calmer, where before she kept moving around. I told Tricia that I would give it a little more time. She asked me to sit where she was and to talk to Dalila while petting her and that she would drop off the dogs and return within 15 minutes. I was feeling much calmer and could tell Dalila was too. Dalila still hadn't had a pup by the time Tricia returned and I was getting worried again. Once again Tricia gently touched Dalila's belly. She said that she believed we would have a pup very soon. She wasn't wrong, Dalila gave birth to 3 pups over the next two hours. Tricia stayed with me until we were pretty sure Dalila was done. Tricia seemed to have a wonderful calming affect on both Dalila and myself. Tricia tried explaining that Dalila was just stressed, because I was and because this was her first litter and that Dalila had calmed down, because I had. I told her that I think she just has a magical touch with people and animals. We have all become good friends since then and I'm just so grateful for Tricia's calm nature!
I would definitely recommend Tricia as a pet caregiver. She has not only watched my dogs along with thier puppies but my cats aswell. I was so impressed with the connection she had with them right away. When I came home my animals was not in need for anything. Tricia took the dogs for walks, fed them and my cats. I was surprised to see no puppy messes and even a clean cat box. If your looking for a top experienced and safe person with your fur babies Tricia is the right choice.
