Hi I'm Trish! I'm originally from Oak Park, now living in the Chicago Irving Park/Mayfair neighborhood. I have just finished a Physician Assistant program and was able to care for pups when I was a student and on rotations. Now that I am officially done, I have an open schedule to care for your furry friend while I am in licensing limbo. I've been taking care of pups since I was around ten - your fur family will be safe in my care :) I have experience with all sizes, ages, and some special need dogs, including seeing, mobility, and hearing disabilities. If you are looking for house-stays (at my place), it is important to know that I do have a cat. He is friendly as long as your dog is friendly to cats and accustomed to being around them. If you have a cat, I can keep them separate if your cat is not friendly. If that is OK, then we can certainly discuss house stays - just email me with an inquiry!

Trivia was great! She sent lots of pictures every day and gave my kitty lots of different enhancement activities. The sitters I typically use in my rotation weren’t available over the holidays so I went with someone new and I’m glad I did- I will definitely continue to use Tricia in the future!
Tricia took great care great of our pups and sent lots of pictures while we were gone so I knew they were happy and cared for!

Tricia was a perfect match for our dog. As a longtime fellow dog sitter, using Rover for care for the first time, it was interesting to interview other sitters. Out of 4 potentials Tricia was the only one who met my standards. She was personable, welcoming, and had knowledge of small breeds. Her home was clean & she was professional. I received daily updates w/ photos & Angel came home happy and relaxed. Tricia made our trip easier because our dog was with a person we trusted. 5 stars.

I would like to know whether they are friendly with other dogs, if they ever have accidents in the house, if they shed, their general eating/potty schedule, whether they take any medications or have any special needs.
A typical day
I jog on the Coronado beach front in the mornings, so please let me know if your dog is high energy and would be able to run alongside me. I love to take dogs to local dog parks including the Coronado dog beach or the Little Italy dog park, will definitely make sure you are OK with this before I do this. Lastly, I love to hike and if your dog is able would love to bring them with for weekend excursions!
