Pet care experience
I'm a teacher who has spent most of my life caring for children. Given my experience, taking care of animals comes very natural to me. I've been a dog owner for the past five years. Over those years I have taken care of my sister's dog and friends' dogs since we would take turns helping each other out. In addition, my sister was a dog boarder and I would often help her when she was over-booked. My calm, easy going nature coupled with a strong attention to detail and nature care-taker abilities creates the right formula that allows me to do a great job caring for your dog. I'm looking forward to this fun and loving adventure!

Tricia is a fantastic sitter! So happy to have had her watch my pup for the weekend. Tricia is super easy to communicate with and made my pup feel at home right away. Her little dog Morrie is so sweet and hit it off with my dog. Tricia sent a bunch of cute pics of their fun times together on walks and at the dog beach. Highly recommend Tricia!
Tricia has been the perfect match for Buddy. We've been doing daycare while I am at work and she took him on hikes in the woods and walks in the neighborhood - just what my active terrier needs! He was completely pooped after I picked him up from his day with Tricia which is always a great sign. She is extremely attentive and sincerely cares about the happiness of your pup. I will definitely continue to drop Buddy off with her during the day!
Tricia is exceptional- she's taken care of our dog on multiple occasions and goes above and beyond. Our pup comes home exhausted and happy from a day of playing, and is always excited to go back!

I would like to know if the dog is still working on potty training, also if there are any special medical concerns. I spend a great deal of time caring for my dog who tends to have various medical issues so I am very sensitive to more needy dogs and consider myself a good care taker.
A typical day
Your dog will have a lot of fun time with me. I live five minutes from Lake Merritt so a walk around the lake would be part of the daily routine. We will visit the dog parks in Joaquin Miller park, and at Alameda beach. For the more active dogs, we can hike in the Oakland hills.
