Caring for the "Challenging"

Pet care experience

I have owned dogs all my life. I have experience with pregnant females, newborn litters and raising puppies from birth. I currently have three of varying ages and health which requires me to have a wide variety of care skills and lots of patience. They teach me new lessons every day. I own rescues and a purebred. My oldest is fully blind and diabetic. She requires insulin shots twice a day which has really opened up my dog care skills to new areas.

Trey was awesome! Super professional. Took really good care of our Shepard. She’s not great with other dogs so we always worry about who can take care of her with her walks. Trey was awesome and kind with understanding her needs. Took lots and lots of cute pictures too. Definitely recommend.

Safety, trust & environment

Patience and learning are the keys to dog care. I approach every dog like a new person with different needs and preferences for care. I always follow dog safety and take precautions especially with other people's pets. These animals are our best friends and should be treated as such. Safety for dogs in my care and other people's dogs around me, is paramount.

Information Trey B. would like to know about your pet

I like to know what kind of play they respond to best. What kind of treats do they respond to the best and what common commands do they listen to? Any tips or tricks I can get from the owner to make the dog extra happy and wear them out are always appreciated. A tired dog is a well behaved dog.

A typical day

Walking and fetching are my two favorites. I will happily play your dog's favorite game with them. I regularly go on runs with my own dogs so if yours is a runner I have plenty of experience with that. I have several paths around West Reading I go on. I also enjoy the Schuykill River Trail.

I have the flexibility to work from home almost all of the time so I am always with my pups. Because of our diabetic dog, either me or my partner has to be home at certain times to feed and give her insulin. This can be flexibly adjusted to meet our scheduling needs. Even when I do go to the office, its only 5 minutes away so I can be anywhere in my radius rather quickly.
