Ever since I was little, there have always been dogs in my life. The wife and I currently have a dog and a cat; the dog is an older little papillon/spaniel mix. I've taken care of co-workers' and (when I worked retail) customers' animals too. Being a dog-sitter is also how I met my wife!

I live 5 minutes outside of White House, in the country on 6 acres of land. We currently have 3 horses. One horse pasture is unused and "fenced in" with strands of electric rope (turned off). My dog will run around there unleashed and supervised. Our 3 acres behind the house is a forest with a path running along the border and through it. Inside the house, my dog is usually relaxing on the couch or with my wife who works from home. We have a circular puppy pen that we used when he was a puppy. Crates are used on occasion when I need to run out for longer periods of time.

A typical day
My doggie is usually chill but likes to run out on our property and get in lots of sniffs. Throughout the day and evening we'll play with his toys, his favorite thing in the world is his orange Chuckit ball.

My schedule has very open availability for pet care. I go on daily walks with my dog and have to do chores related to having horses here, but I'm flexible with working around those commitments.
