Pet care experience
I was raised around dogs and learned to train for basic behaviors by age 11. Most of my experience is with med-lg dogs, including those who are ailing, anxious, require special diets, dispensing medicine, are difficult-to-manage, and dogs with strict care protocols. I'm the "Go To" in-home sitter for friends and clients because of attentiveness to follow care protocols and time focused on the dog. I strive for a seamless transition from a dog's owner to my care and back to the owner. My goal is to create an environment that minimizes your dog's stress. That way, you don't have to worry about your dog. You can focus on what's in front of you at the moment and know your dog is in loving hands.

The biggest complement I could give a dogsitter is that my strong-willed, attention-demanding 70lb girl hardly notices when I get home from a 10 day trip. She is calm, happy, and continues with our regular routine as if I never left. She shows no signs of stress, neglect, hunger or anxiety and is the happy tail-wagging mutt that I left. Tressa is our "dog-whisperer" and we felt completely comfortable leaving her with our two dogs who were going through major life transitions (changing Alpha roles-not pretty) while we were away. Tressa is meticulous, respectful of what our house rules are, sweet and loving and a natural with cats AND dogs. She is our first choice, always.
Tressa has been taking care of our pups for over seven years now. She is caring, compassionate and very responsible. She has an incredibly calm energy, something that is a must for our strong-willed 75 lb. pit/lab mix. Our vacations are so much more enjoyable when Tressa is taking care of Lucy. We know Lucy is getting lots of love and attention. We also know that Tressa respects our wishes with regard to Lucy following the rules of the house. Tressa is by far the best dog sitter we have ever had. I would highly recommend her!
I would leave my animals in Tressa's care anytime. She is very kind and affectionate, and absolutely trustworthy. She has cared for my dog and cat on several occasions and will walk, feed, play,give meds,and write notes about the visit too!
