Not only have I owned dogs my entire life, but my wife and I started caring for dogs on Rover in the summer of 2022. Sadly, my wife passed away after a lengthy illness in December 2022. Our 2 dogs and I now live in our conveniently located south Tampa home, with a completely and securely fenced back yard. I also have a separately fenced area where I take the dogs outside several times a day under my supervision, typically. I do have a security camera in that area if I need to go inside to take a quick work call. Our Maltese, Max, is by my side constantly. After my wife passed away, I adopted another dog, an incredibly sweet and passive American Bully named Camo, who loves all dogs and people. Because Max is so tiny, I prefer to pet-sit dogs under 40 lbs., and they must be non-aggressive and housetrained. Your dogs will get lots of outside breaks, and at least 1-2 walks per day. They are allowed on the couch with me and my dogs, and a tiny dog like Max can sleep on the bed if needed. I keep Camo crated in my office at night, and dogs I'm pet-sitting will stay in the office with her, either in your crate or just behind the gate.
