I grew up in South Africa in a household with a with a variety of pets, from dogs, cats, birds and rats and few other little critters along the way. I used accompany my grandfather to dog shows as he used to breed and show Dobermans. I volunteered at the SPCA for a number of years helping with animal care, their housing and fund raising. I have done multiple house sitting and animal care jobs including fostering aged and abused animals. I have a passion for nature, I love being able to walk about and identify various species of flora and fauna and a great respect for animals and their well being. I have an interest in the psychology of animals and understanding their behaviour in order for them to be comfortable and happy!
