Hi there! I'm Lacey! A pet lover with more than 12 years of experience taking care of all sorts of pets, from reptiles and cats to hamsters, bunnies, and dogs. I'm experienced in walking and pet sitting all types of pets, so your furry friend will be in great hands. lacey and zander pet sit my dogs at my house. They did a great job. They were very communicative and very comfortable around my dogs. I have 3 dogs (2small/1big). They are young but I decided to give them a chance and they did really well! They followed all of my directions and listened to all of my concerns. They made me feel very comfortable.
Lacey and her family watched my dog Leo. Leo is a 13 pound mixed lab. We had Leo stay at their house while I went on a four day trip. Lacey was very well with communication and sent us many pictures of Leo, it looks like he was having a lot of fun. They took him on daily walks and made sure he was having fun.. with my approval they got him a pupachino from Starbucks basically whip cream in a cup I didn’t know they had that for dogs! But Leo sure loved it. My dog is a bigger dog so he slept in the garage in a crate during the night time but was outside/out and about throughout the daytime. I really like having Lacey as my pet sitter and will definitely use her in the future.
Lacey and Zander are my go to pet sitters. I have a 13 year old lab. She is an old lady. Lacey and Zander were very patient when it came to Rosie. She struggles with making it to door on time to go to the bathroom, they never yelled at her or got annoyed like past sitters have. They are very compassionate people who I trust with my old lady. They were patient while giving her oral medication (anxiety medication) and were able to make her feel comfortable anytime before they left.

To ensure safety while taking a dog on a walk, I would check before with the owners if it would be OK with them and what type of behavior, the dog has while on a leash. If the dog has aggressive behavior on a leash that I would not be comfortable with, I would provide a different option such as extra play time in the backyard. We have a large backyard with grass/dirt. We have a shaded porch with a glass window so we can watch the dog anytime they are outside.We have tall fences that are safe and secure. If we are talking about Pet Sitting, a cat or smaller animals, such as a bunny or guinea pigs from experience, we keep the smaller animals in my bedroom separate from any other animals to ensure safety and lower the amount of stress. We have screens on all of our windows, which keeps all of our indoor cats inside. We have cats with guinea pigs and hamsters- our cats are used to rodents and smaller pets in our household so they don’t even bother to look at them.

I love taking dogs on walks to explore new places and get some fresh air. Some of my favorite spots are Lake Chabot Regional Park, Redwood Regional Park, and Tilden Regional Park. I also love playing fetch and tug-of-war with dogs, and I'll make sure your furry friend gets plenty of exercise and playtime while they're with me.

Availability
Pet sitting and dog walking fits perfect into my family schedule. I am a very active person who enjoys walking and running around my neighborhood-if your dog is safe and friendly on a leash I would love to do bring them along. My family and I are huge animal lovers, we love everything in anything ranging from frogs to bunnies to cats to dogs, and all in between. Even though I’m young, I am super responsible, and reliable. I have many references that I can provide.
