Pet care experience
I am currently a veterinary technician with a B.S. in Animal Science from UVM. Previously I have worked at a force-free, R+ dog training facility in Burlington. With pet rats of my own that have unique care requirements, I understand the need for quality animal care and am committed to making every pet feel comfortable in a new environment. I have experience handling dogs, cats, snakes, rodents, rabbits, and birds! :) I am comfortable administering SQ injections and oral medications to your pet.
Reviews
Trea is wonderful and took great care of Fern! Would highly recommend her to take care of your pets.
My puppy had a wonderful stay with Trea for daycare! She is a very attentive sitter/walker, and is one of the only few people who can coax my shy pup out of her shell! She was fully committed to giving my pup lots of wonderful experiences and adventures during her stay. Each day my puppy was returned tired and happy, and was ecstatic each morning to see Trea upon pickup. Would book again, 10/10!
Trea was amazing - she took our dog to her house and boarded her and sent amazing pics and detailed updates everyday. Would highly recommend!!!
Highly recommend Trea for doggy day care! She was able to watch my 1 year old puppy last minute and was nothing but helpful and flexible. Super reliable and responded to my messages quickly & kept me updated on how my boy was doing! If you’re an anxious dog mom or dad like me, Trea is a good fit to keep you at ease while you’re away from your pup!!!

My primary concern is always with an animal’s well-being, physical or mental. I will meet your pet where they’re at and provide compassionate, trustworthy, patient care. Like any person, their needs are unique, and I care for anyone else’s pet like I would my own. *** I do not use, support, or condone aversives in dog handling or care. This means that I will not use aversive tools (e-collars, prong collars, choke collars) or methods (leash-popping, yelling). *** In my 3-bedroom apartment in the ONE, they get plenty of love and attention! When I'm with your pet at my home or yours, I try and keep them as busy as possible so their experience is enriching and fun :)

Information Trea H. would like to know about your pet
- Does your dog have a specific toy/game they enjoy? - Does your dog have any food restrictions? - Is your dog reactive/fearful? - Do they have separation anxiety? Any other behaviors of note?
A typical day
At home, I strive to keep your pup as occupied as possible! We play, go on walks around the neighborhood and I let them sniff to their heart's content. If they're social and the weather permits, we can head downtown and hang by the waterfront! If they prefer to be the only dog around, we can romp around some quieter dog-friendly parks and trails with a long-line. My goal is for your pup to go home tired and happy!
