Pet care experience
My family has had pets as long as I can remember. I always had a connection with them like good energy. I started working at a dog daycare in high school for 3 years but after I graduated I went to work at another daycare where I continued to learn lots about dogs behavior. I bathed, pilled, dewormed, and applied topical medicine, even the occasional dog fight I learned how to stop bleeding and seal wounds. And I spent time feeding cleaning playing scooping, giving treats. When I wasn’t playing with other people’s dogs my family always had black labs and several cats. So I’ve gotten time with both animals to a friendly playful mentality shared between us. I enjoy exercise so taking the dog out for a couple of miles each day was very enjoyable for us both. Years later I went to live on a farm where I learned how to apply basic medicine to livestock and the farm cats and dogs. I got in the routine of a 2mile walk each day and am still at it 6 years later. I love to walk outside, and having a dog makes it just that much better. I owned a toy Yorkshire terrier for about 11 months. They were great times often cuddling in bed. Shortly after I found him a home I pulled over to the road side and whistled for a stray pit bull puppy who gladly jumped into my passenger seat. He lived with me for 8 interesting months. He was a sweet boy and just had trouble chewing up my plants while not home and he didn't take to kennel training so we shared my bed. No accidents inside, a little mischievous but that comes with owning a pit bull. I was sad and happy to find him a loving home. As of right now I don’t have any pets at the moment but I’ll adopt when the time is right. I occasionally foster stray cats till I can get them to a no kill shelter or adopted. I have a deep connection to animals and feel like they can tell that I’m a good person. It’s that, that’s the beginning of a long friendship. I look forward to meeting and interacting with your pets.

Information Travis T. would like to know about your pet
I love all dogs equally, I would want to know the dogs individual diet, water consumption, what to look for if they have to use the bathroom. Feeding times and portion. Are they aggressive eaters? Do they panic occasionally, or not like being watched? Little quirks that makes caring for dogs unique. Local vet of choice in case of an emergency. Emergency contact information. Toys that calm or excite the animal. General body language to avoid accidentally upsetting them.
A typical day
I live across the street from Gage Park and frequent it myself. The dogs could enjoy a walk through the park, by the lake or zoo or there’s even a dog park in that area. So they could get a good run/play in. It’s close enough I could make the trip multiple times a day. Not to mention I typically walk the same 2 miles around the park each morning.
