I would have to say that my adaptability, reliability, compassion, and work ethic would definitely set me apart from most sitters or petgivers. I've had a decades worth of experience taking care of several dogs and cats with great success. I believe when you truly care about an animal they acquire a strong sense of the emotion and a strong bond can be formed. Other factors that would help set me apart would be my availability due to the nature of my current managerial job. I am young, healthy, and ambitious.. I will not deny that I have no formal or specialized skills but I am a quick learner and have no doubt I could deliver for the animal within the boundaries of my current qualifications.

My only concern would be the level of aggressiveness of the pet. I feel comfortable in most situations around animals, they definitely seem to like me, but I have been exposed to unstable or highly aggressive dogs that would snap and try to bite me in the past. Just a forewarning of these tendencies would be nice with potential suggestions for me on my initial approach behavior on my end to decrease the chances of a bad episode.

As I alluded to with adaptability, I am willing and capable of doing just about whatever the owner or pet has to create a happy and positive mental state for the animal.
