Being around animals has always been an excellent stress reliever for me. I recently moved out of my friend's house where I was with his Weimaraner and German Shorthaired Pointer mix for almost 5 years. I would take him for runs/walks, and care for him when my roommate was out of town. I miss him, but luckily I still get to see him when I visit! I have also cared for and owned small dogs in the past. I have always had pets growing up; from my gerbils Ralph and Daisy, my Dobermann Pinscher Rocky, to my Shih Tzu Holly (from whom I rescued and kept a squirrel once when I was a young child--also named Rocky--until we had to take Rocky the squirrel to the Humane Society when we could no longer give him the care he needed. Animals have always loved me, and they have always put a smile on my face!
