Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Tracy and have been married for 27 years. I have a 26 yr old daughter (she lives in Ohio) who has a pug. He’s my grand pug 🥰. We lost our dachshund of 16 years and couldn’t replace him, it was to hard. We still would love to be around and take care of dogs or cats. My sister has 5 cats. Probably 6 by the time you read this, seriously. To my husband and me, taking care of your pet is the next best thing to having one, and we would treat them as our own. We live in a place that has a dog park and dog stations, it’s a very pet friendly community. I love to take walks at least 3 times a day, this is a beautiful community and we are 2 miles from the beach. I really feel that this is what is missing in my life, being around and taking care of puppies and dogs. We moved to Fort Myers because my daughter is engaged and still lives there, and my husband is recently retired. He is 58 and I am 51. We have a large 2 bdrm for when our daughter visits. Tracy’s interaction and care for dogs goes above and beyond. I have never had a pit bull before, but my brother back in Cincinnati has one, and he was very sweet tempered. There is no particular breed, but I do like dogs under 70 lbs. It really depends on the dog. I would want to know what your dogs likes and dislikes are so he will really enjoy being with me, and any medicines or special needs your pet may have. Thank you.
A typical day
I used to take my dog Sonny everywhere with me and I do the same with Nizmo when I have him.There is a dog beach in Bonita that is wonderful, but I understand if you don’t want your baby going anywhere. There are bike and dog trails here and I love to walk Nizmo (besides it’s great exercise for both of us) there Is also a duck pond here and some dogs like to chase them. I have never let any dog out of my sight, any activities that your dog likes to do, we will do together. My husband is excited about this too, because as much as we love dogs, it was devastating losing Sonny, our dachshund.
