Missing having pets around to spoil
Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m new to offering pet services on Rover, so I’ve set my rates to reflect that. My partner and I lost our senior pittie mix last year and aren’t ready to adopt again just yet, but do want to have pups back in our life. My past pet experience also includes raising a scruffy terrier pup who I loved to train. I also had a Maine coon kitten with a senior Himalayan cat. I’ve informally dog sat for tons of friends but recently having moved here, I’m a little too far for that now. As a photography student, you may end up with occasional frame-worthy pics of your little one (with permission of course) after our visit! When I visit your home I’ll be solo, but when boarding at my home, know your fur baby will receive double the love from my partner as well!
Reviews
Tracy was a kind and skilled caretaker of our 3 month old puppy, Ruby. She understood Ruby right away, and did a great job of getting her exercise and some training during the day. We came home to a happy pup! I would recommend Tracy because she's got good experience with different kinds of dogs, at all life stages, and is a wonderful person to watch over yours!
Tracy took great care of Oreo. She sent us daily updates and pictures. We were delighted that Oreo was with her.
We were very fortunate to be introduced to Tracy through Rover and we felt comfortable from the start! When Aria first met Tracy, I could tell it was a great match and as a past pet owner she has a special sense of caring and affection. Initially we did a day care followed by the long stay so Aria gets comfortable and acquainted. We enjoyed our vacation knowing that Aria was in good hands. Tracy kept us informed with regular updates and cute photos (She has an amazing photographic talent). She took out Aria for regular walks, played in her yard and brushed to keep Aria happy. Aria really liked Tracy and she is a true dog lover and takes amazing care.
Highly recommend! Our dog had such a great time with Tracy that we were worried she may not want to come home with us. And so understanding of all our pup's quirks... We are so grateful!

It is a small two bedroom home with plenty of space for beds and toys! There is a small grassy lawn for potty time, though it is not fenced in. There is a nearby park great for sensory walks. Your pet would have free range of our home, unless you prefer crate time, and would be welcome to sleep on a bed on our bedroom floor.

Information Tracy M. would like to know about your pet
I love all breeds! I would need to know of any aggressive behavior or bites. Knowing their fav treats or allergies/diet restrictions is very important as well! It would be great to hear about their energy level and favorite ways to play. Please also let me know if they have marked/had accidents indoor before. While we do have a dog free home, our Max's scent is probably still around and probably wouldn't be great for a very territorial dog who marks indoors. The more information the better I can plan a perfect visit!
A typical day
Depends on your pets vibe! We could do a quick trip to the reserve nearby or a drive for a longer trail if they’re up for it! They are welcome to join me on the couch for a movie night if they prefer a more low energy hangout! I’m open to suggestions if they have a favorite activity.

Availability
I freelance in marketing while studying full time. Half of my classes are hybrid or online, so I can schedule around it! I am not available Monday afternoons or Thursday evenings while I’m on campus (until graduation in May!) Please note that I am actively looking for a full time job with a June start ideally. If I land something remote, occasional weekday care *might* be possible for the right pup! If you need a long-term commitment, sadly, I can't offer that! I'd love to build relationships with pets who need occasional care on weekends.
