Pet care experience
I have been on Rover for over a year now and love walking and watching all the doggies as you can see from my pics! I have experience with bigger breeds such as German shepherds, smaller breeds and lots in between! I took some time off in the recent months and had a baby, but miss all my furriends that I walked! I will be starting doing walks and check ins again starting late May -Thursday, Friday and select Saturdays and Sundays. You can tell from all my photos that my dog is my baby! Chelsea is a 4 year old shichon (shih-tzu/bichon mix).  She is 8 pounds fully grown so I have expertise with smaller dogs but I grew up with a Chesapeake Bay Retriever which was 90 pounds so I very comfortable with a range of dogs and sizes. I know a pet is a huge responsibility and they are like children. It can be difficult to find someone you can trust and rely on to walk and watch them. I am an animal lover so if I can help some people with their furr babies I couldn’t be happier! I am super dependable, flexible, and excited to meet some furry friends!

I can always pop in to make sure your dog or cat are doing okay and well during the day or if you go away for a vacation or work trip! If and when stopping by to take your dog for a walk or a check in for your dog/ cat communication is great! Instructions or anything specific your pet likes (or doesn’t like) just let me know before hand! I have had collars that I was unsure how to get on properly before, so if you use a prong collar or a type of specific collar you think someone might have difficulty with, just a heads up before hand is great!

If your dog or cat has anything that sets them off just give me a heads up (ex. Skateboards, loud honking- whatever it may be). If they have any allergies as well just let me know. I usually bring treats with me, but will always ask prior if they can have one. Another big one- if they aren’t friendly with other dogs just let me know before hand and I’ll avoid other dogs on walks.
A typical day
We can walk all along the Hudson River or around the Vessel, find some fun parks and do dog stuff! Sniff lots of stuff, take in the fresh air and city views, and maybe make some friends along the way!

Availability
I will be available starting late May to do walks/check ins on dogs or cats Thursdays, Fridays and select Saturdays and Sundays. I can do one off walks or check ins whenever needed and on demand for those days or I can make a set schedule for Thursdays and Fridays.
