Pet care experience
My name is Laira and I have just moved from Canada! I have been working with dogs for over 10 years. I started with Bathing and grooming and have added training to my repertoire with our beloved friends. I teach Nose Work and am on my way to becoming a judge for our sport. My life is DOGS DOGS DOGS. I love to help people with their pets, be it training or us humans being so busy sometimes we need some help with walks, babysitting or daycare! I could not imagine a life without them. If you're looking for boarding, or daycare, your four legged friend is going to have so much fun! I have a fenced yard, that we can play with toys outside or even just hang out in the sun if that's what they'd like; if they don't have allergies, we have all of the treats to share. If there is every anything you would like for your dog to learn during their stay, let me know and I can help you with that as well as work with your pet. If you'd like to add on walks to your stay I can do that as well, though depending on the length of your stay, it will definitely be included. Contact me for any other questions, concerns, or just to chat about any services I can provide for you and your companion. I'd love to meet them! I also dont have breed restrictions, as long as your pet is not dog aggressive as we have 2 littles ones.

Tracie was incredibly attentive to my puppy. I am from out of town and was able to locate Tracie on Rover to care for my puppy while I was in business meetings. Tracie walked my pup, sent updates, has plenty of play toys, and is wonderfully friendly. I will definitely be back when in the area for business. Seamless drop off and pick up as well.
Laira loved my dog just as if she was her own. Cincy got lots of love and lots of exposure to different people and other pets, which is important for a puppy. She also helped me out by clipping her nails, because I was nervous to do it since she is puppy and moves around so much. Cincy played hard all day and got lots of attention and napped most of the evening after she got home. We will definitely use Laira again!
Tracie is a wonderful host! She and her husband John took amazing care of our girl Lula. They kept in touch throughout her stay and sent pictures as well. Lula can be a bit nervous and both Tracie and John were great with her. We have already booked another stay. Highly recommend.

Information Tracie "Laira" G. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know: Allergies and if so, what they can and cannot have. Health problems, and if medication is needed. Are they in heat, and if you have an intact Male, I cannot allow them to stay when my female is in heat. Any behavioural problems they may have. That being even shyness towards humans, and not that it's a behavioural problem, but that way we give your loved one space and time so they don't feel overwhelmed. I have no restrictions on breed :)
A typical day
I myself like to walk anywhere from 3-6 miles and I take my dogs downtown, to the lake, and parks around the area. I like to do games with my dogs, and as I teach Nose Work, I like to play sniffing games, so they use their brain! Mental stimulation is very important for our companions. We have ALL of the toys, chews, anything they could possibly want! If you also are looking for someone to help with training your dogs, be it manners or tricks, let me know and we can add that to their stay as well. Besides all of the fun and games, we will have to have some couch cuddling time as well!
