As an animal lover from nearly birth and pet parent for the past 25 plus years I would love to care for your dog or cat while you're away. Our pets are not only members of our family, but truly our life. My husband and I have traveled extensively over the past 9 years with our four pets as full-time RVers. We fell in love with Rover and used it quite often while visiting national parks that didn't allow our dogs. It was always such a comfort being able to enjoy our time away without worrying about how our pets were doing. I'd love to offer you the same peace of mind that was offered to us. For 8 years we ran a small animal rescue nonprofit, in Dallas, so we are experienced with most dog and cat behaviors/personalities. I also worked at a senior dog sanctuary solo caring for 20+ dogs, as well as at the nation's largest animal sanctuary as a supervisor caring for dogs of various size, age, and medical and behavioral challenges. We currently have 4 pets that are permanent members of our family, including a spunky large breed boy, and a few dog friendly kitties. We sporadically have various foster cats and dogs in our home, too. Due to the experiences I have gone through professionally in rescue over the past 15+ years if your pet is shy, anxious, energetic, senior, a relationship build, or an active puppy or kitty I am certain to feel comfortable caring for your family member. Animals truly are our world and passion. You can feel comfortable and confident knowing they are being well taken care of while you're away. I believe in LOTS of pictures and communication so you know how they're doing, as that always helps me with my own seeing/hearing how their day is going while we are away.
