Pet care experience
For many years I have taken care of my kids, friends, and neighbors dogs whenever I am needed. I am patient, loving, and very knowledgeable on the care that is needed. Researching is something I often do, especially when it comes to dogs and their personalities, possible health issues, and particular care techniques. I lost my two pups within 6 weeks of each-other last year. My heart hurt so bad. My sweet girl was only 8 years old, and my boy was 13.5 years. I adopted Remy in January and not only is the dog park, walks, and being around other dogs his favorite thing, it is mine too! He and I rescued eachother and we have lots of love to share. Remy and I would love to offer a caring home with lots of play time for your pup, whether it be for a few hours or overnight.

I can’t express enough how much we truly appreciate and value how well Traci took care of our dogs! We were from out of town and needed someone to watch our dogs for the weekend and we hit the jackpot with Traci! She was sweet, communicative and made our dogs feel instantly at home! Our dogs had the time of their lives at her house playing with her sweet dog, Remy! Thank you so much Traci and only wish is that you lived closer to us so we could hire you more often! You truly are the best!!!!

Traci took very good care of Aoife who was a bit overwhelmed. This was her first time away from us for more than two hours . We were sent pictures. Aoife was very tired the next day . We will definitely use her again .
This was soooo amazing! I was so nervous to leave my pup and as soon as we pulled up to Traci and Remy’s I knew we were in a good place. Sakari had so much fun. He and Remy played awesome together. Traci was so understanding and caring. She has plenty of toys, water, treats, back yard where the dogs can go out as much as they want. I received pictures and videos of his play time and even a report card with details of all things when he was there! I am so thankful for Traci and Remy and will definitely be back lots! :) Thank you so much for helping me with my very precious best friend Sakari ❤️

I have a fenced yard and a 2 year old pup (Remy) who LOVES other pups! He is so friendly, happy and loving and is sure to make the time spent with us a great experience. I do not crate Remy, but am willing to do so if that is your preference for your pup. They are allowed on furniture and my bed (Remy’s favorite place😊). My youngest daughter has two golden retrievers and when she comes home to visit, they always stay with me. My son also has two pups who have spent many days and hours with me since they were just weeks old. I have joked with my family over recent years, when it’s the holidays and everyone comes to visit, that my house is the one for the dogs to stay at, and the “people” can stay with my daughter and son in law at their house (they have my 3 grandkids). My grandkids call me Nona ♥️ (Grandma in Italian), and my grandpups also know me as Nona 😆. I can promise to offer you a safe and loving home where your pup will be very well taken care of!!

The most important thing I would need to know is if your dog is friendly with other dogs. (His/her temperament) I have Remy, who is very friendly, and just want to be sure yours will adjust well. If your pup has anxieties of any kind, please let me know. I have a lot of experience with anxiety in pups and am patient and am pretty successful making them feel comfortable!! Please feel free to share anything you want about your pup. I have a sitter stay with mine when I might leave for a weekend and I leave a note that’s usually 2 pages long. Lol. She laughs, because she knows that’s who I am. So, I would not be offended if you have a list a mile long to give me about your boy/girl. It’s important to me to know your pups personality, needs and wants, to give them the best care possible!!
A typical day
If you and your pup are comfortable, we love to go to the dog park for about an hour every day. If the dog park isn’t something you are comfortable, we can always have fun at home. When we go on walks, we generally stay in the neighborhood. I have a fenced back yard and love to spend time outside in the summer. We have plenty of toys to play with and lots of love to offer!

Availability
For the summer, I am home most every day. Although I have some long weekends scheduled to be out of town, I have plenty of time available too! When I am gone from home during the day for any appointments or to watch my grandchildren, the longest I am away is @4 hours at a time. I am flexible and able to work my schedule to what works best. In the Fall, while still having availability, I am a substitute teacher and won’t be available some days. (Likely 10 days a month)
